Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my own drum kit, or other equipment?

Yes, you can bring anything you like. There is no obligation to use our equipment (but also no discount if you don’t).

Am I guaranteed to get the room and equipment I ask for?

We will tell you when you book which room you will be in. The more popular rooms tend to book up quickly, so it’s best to book at least a week in advance if you want room 19 or 7.

If for any reason we have to move your booking to another room then you will be charged at the cheaper rate of the two rooms. This rarely happens.

If any equipment is missing or broken when you arrive we will give you the best equivalent we have available to use. We check the rooms regularly to help ensure this doesn’t happen.

Can I borrow equipment from another room?

If you want to borrow something from another room, please ask at reception first. If that room is booked then the equipent will not be available – imagine if you arrived to rehearse in a room but all the nice amps had been borrowed by the band next door!

During quiet periods, if the room is free then you will usually be able to borrow whatever you like.

What if I don’t know how to use some of the back-line equipment?

Our staff know how to set up and use all of our back-line equipment. They will happily show you.

PLEASE ASK IF YOU’RE NOT SURE HOW TO USE SOMETHING!

What happens if something in the room breaks/doesn’t work?

We regularly check the rooms and back-line equipment, but if something is not working when you arrive please let us know straight away so we can find you a replacement.

If something breaks during your practice then, again, please let us know. We accept that things break from time to time, and your band will not be charged (unless there is clear evidence of deliberate vandalism or improper use – please don’t “rock-star” our gear!).
